A TALE ABOUT INNOVATION

How we got here

1925-1975
After WWI, Demisto Biginelli studied thermoelectric power in Lyon and brought it to Italy in 1930, passing his skills to his sons. In 1956, Francesco, 24, moved to Turin, advancing his craft with the Genesio company.
1975-1980
On July 25, 1975, Francesco Biginelli and Claudio Genesio founded Delta-ti Impianti in Turin, installing systems for Fiat’s sites and patenting innovative residential water systems.
1981-1988
The company grew, taking on larger projects and gaining recognition among major Italian industries. In 1988, Claudio Genesio left, and Giorgio Biginelli, Francesco’s son, took his place, making Delta-ti a family business.
1990-2000
The company expanded, opening a larger Rivoli headquarters and acquiring new equipment. It completed major projects, including the 100-megawatt cold storage facility at Sata Melfi.
2003-2009
The economic crisis hit the industry hard, but Giorgio Biginelli’s leadership led Delta-ti to diversify into infrastructure, including Turin's district heating networks. In 2005, it marked 30 years, and in 2006, it built networks for the Turin Olympic sites, becoming a Spa.
2010-2018
The company expanded into the healthcare and scientific research sectors, building a new headquarters. With new certifications, Delta-ti entered the markets of CERN and Fusion for Energy.
2019-TODAY
Delta-ti continues, collaborating with the Candiolo cancer research center and securing contracts for nuclear fusion research in Cadarache, France, alongside Fincantieri. The latest venture: in 2024, Delta-ti won a contract at Fermilab in Chicago. What’s next?
